On Wednesday, November 26th, all schools in District of Carleton North joined together to support the Sanctuary House in Woodstock. The initiative was to raise awareness for family violence by wearing purple and bringing a donation. Through social media other schools heard what we were doing and wore purple on that day as well! Thank you to all who participated. Together we raised $1000 to donate to Sanctuary House! See what happens when communities join together? Kindness spreads and we are all connected through empathy and compassion.
